Alias and Showcase added to Adraft portfolio.

We are happy to announce the addition of the industrial design software Autodesk AliasStudio and Showcase to the lineup of great products sold and supported by Autodraft. What are AliasStudio and Showcase you may ask?

Autodesk DesignStudio

Autodesk Studio

Autodesk SurfaceStudio

Autodesk® SurfaceStudio software is for virtual modelers who evolve concept models and scan data into high-quality production surfaces, including automotive Class-A surfaces for automotive design and styling. It includes a full set of dynamic modeling capabilities for shape development, refinement, and control, as well as powerful interactive evaluation functionality to verify the aesthetic and technical quality of surfaces.

Showcase

Autodesk Showcase software facilitates informed decision making on designs.  Create accurate, realistic imagery from 3D CAD data to convey form and create environmental context to communicate brand character. Present and review designs in an environment in which team members can make reliable decisions, efficiently and economically, locally and via remote sessions.

              What did all that mean?  Think of it this way, Showcase gives you the ability to fully render a 3D model in a scene, and then rotate the model real time, explore configurations, change colors, finish, material and much more.  It is a great tool for design reviews with both internal and external customers.

Autodesk Inventor 2008 Service Pack 1 Released

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Autodesk Inventor 2008 Service Pack 1, which fixes or addresses a variety of issues pertaining to Autodesk Inventor 2008. The README file highlights how to install the patch, what has been fixed, and how to download the update.
